Details
The society's aims are:- To promote friendship and understanding between the peoples of Szeged (Hungary) and those of Cambridge (UK) and to encourage groups or individuals to develop cultural links through visits, joint projects etc. in areas of mutual interest; to encourage business links; to inform local people and increase their awareness of the links between the 2 cities; to act as a communications link. To promote co-operation between"town and gown" in both cities. To organise fund raising activities to foster the aims of the Association. To co-operate with the sister society in Szeged and exchange information, ideas and experience.
