North Hunts Community Car Scheme is a voluntary group which provides door-to-door transport for people who do not have the use of a car and are unable to use conventional public transport. Registration is free - telephone the number above for further details and to register with the scheme.
Types of journey include appointments at the surgery/hospital, opticians, dentist, and visiting friends & relatives in hospital.
This scheme is aimed at those living in the parishes of Alwalton, Chesterton, Caldecote, Conington, Denton, Elton, Farcet, Folksworth, Glatton, Haddon, Holme, Morborne, Sibson Cum Stibbington, Stilton, Washingley, Water Newton and Yaxley who are unable to make essential journeys by any other means. You do not have to be disabled to use this service.
Passengers make a contribtion of 25p per mile towards the cost of the journey. Please try to give 48 hours notice if possible.
