Details
Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) is a new service that has been introduced in the NHS and we are here to provide an identifiable and accessible service to all users, relatives and carers; to provide information and advice about NHS services; to support and help users in order to negotiate solutions and early resolution to problems or informal concerns; to work across organisational boundaries ensuring a seamless service for patients who move between different parts of the NHS; to provide a proactive service in order to receive comments and feedback on health and social care services; to act as a catalyst for change and improvement to services within the NHS; to act as a gateway to formal complaints, ICAS or independent advocacy services by providing a choice to service users.
